Getting ready for your event rental can be a daunting task. However, we’ve compiled all the information you need to remain stress-free at the venue.
The Preparation Guide below will help you prepare for your rental.
Preparation Guide
VENUE LOCATION
Studio 100 is located in the Silverlake Business Park at 2817 Miller Ranch Rd. Suite 325, Pearland, TX 77584.
PARKING
Parking is available throughout the Silverlake Business Park, in the front and along the sides of all buildings. You and your guests must only park in outlined parking spaces. No one is allowed to park within the marked fire lanes behind any of the buildings. You are allowed to load/unload within these areas, but all vehicles must be moved from designated fire lanes after loading/unloading.
Vendors are not allowed to block any entryways to neighboring businesses within the business park. Vendors must not leave vehicles parked in fire lanes for prolonged periods of time. Vehicles must be moved to dedicated parking spaces after unloading/loading.
ACCESS
You will gain entry into the venue via the front door using the personal access code provided to you. The code will not work until the designated start time of your rental period.
To unlock the front door, firmly enter the code followed by the red button.
Wait until you hear the door unlock. If you hear a buzz, you have entered the code incorrectly. Wait 3-5 seconds and enter the code again. To lock the front door, simply press the red button. You will hear the door lock.
Once you enter the venue, you can then walk around to unlock the front door of the secondary entrance. You can use either entryway as your main entrance.
Do not prop the venue doors open for prolonged periods of time, as it will make it more difficult to keep the venue efficiently cooled. Promptly close the doors once loading/unloading is completed.

Please visit the Floor Plan page for detailed floor plans.

- Toilet Paper
- 12ft Ladder
ALCOHOL
If you will be serving alcohol at your event, you are required to have law enforcement on site. You must secure law enforcement directly through Studio 100.
FURNITURE
With your rental, you will have access to the following (all pictured on the homepage):
- 12x 6ft tables
- 40x folding white garden chairs
- 8x tall white barstools
- 3x tall cocktail tables (32″ wide)
Although we make a limited number of tables, chairs, and barstools available to you, you are not required to use them. You are allowed to bring your own furniture. You must ensure that all furniture brought into the venue is equipped with a rubber or felt base to ensure that it does not scratch the floors of the venue. Damage caused to the venue floors will incur loss of your Security Deposit and possible additional charges. The furniture within the front lounge and makeup prep area cannot be moved outside of the lounge areas.
We recommend our friends at Elle Event Rentals for standard furniture rentals. They are located in the building immediately behind ours.
Linen
If you rent any linen from us, at the start of your rental period you will find them on the prep tables in the Prep Room. Please account for all linen, put them in a bag, and place them back on the prep tables at the end of your event.
DECORATIONS
Dragging of any furniture, equipment, or any items, across the venue floor is prohibited. If wheels are not attached to any items that are to be moved, those items must be carried.
When decorating for your event, you are not allowed to put holes in the walls. When mounting anything to the walls, you may only use non-permanent 3M holding adhesives and wall putty. The only tape that we allow to be used on any surface in the venue is gaffer tape and painter’s tape. No other adhesives are allowed. No exceptions. Twine, or fishing line comes in handy when needing to hang decorations.
When mounting anything to the greenery wall, you will need to tie into the back mesh with twine or hook loops. You are not allowed to put holes in the wall support of the greenery. You are responsible for removing all twine, string, adhesive, and/or hooks used to mount items to the greenery wall.
AIR CONDITIONING
The thermostats are located on the front walls of each of the main venue areas. The air conditioning units are preset and fixed to 68 degrees. In most months, this usually yields a midday ambient temperature of around 72 degrees. When loading in for your event, you are allowed to open the 12ft bay doors behind the sliding windows. However, we HIGHLY recommend that you load in through the regular doorways when possible. Opening the large bay door will let a lot of Texas heat inside, and it can make it very difficult for the air conditioner to cool the space again prior to your guests arriving. We also recommend not propping any doors open while loading/unloading. The Texas heat should not be underestimated!
WIFI
The wifi network is “Studio100”. The PW is “s100fast”.
MUSIC
The venue is equipped with a Sonos speaker system throughout. The system is set into zones, so you can essentially play different music in different rooms or the same music throughout the entire venue. Once connected to our wifi network, we recommend downloading the Sonos app to your phone, then connect to the existing Sonos system. You will be able to control the music in each room.
Alternatively, with an iPhone, once connected to the venue wifi with the Sonos app downloaded, you can stream directly to the speaker system via Airplay. You are responsible for understanding how airplay works on your iPhone.
External microphones are not able to connect to the Sonos system.
DJ’s are not able to connect to the Sonos system. They must provide their own speakers.
MOOD LIGHTING
Mood lighting is included with all evening and weekend daytime rentals. If Mood Lighting is included with your rental, we will set the lighting to a color scheme of your choosing. As the interface that we use to control the lighting can be a bit cumbersome, we require you to create/select 1 or 2 color schemes no later than 5 days prior to your event. This can be done during a scheduled tour of the venue or simply by informing us of the desired color scheme for each zone. If you have not selected a color scheme no later than 5 days prior to your event, you must use the venue’s default settings. The lighting zones are as follows:
- Gallery 1 (Can be 6 individual colors – 1 per display)
- Gallery 2 (Can be 4 individual colors – 1 per display)
- Studio 1
- Studio 2
- Bar
- Window 1
- Window 2
- Studio 100 Sign (3D name on the wall in Gallery 2)
Your primary color scheme will be set at the beginning of your rental period. If you have requested a secondary color scheme, it will be automatically activated at a specified time of your choosing. You must inform us of the preferred time prior to your rental.
DIGITAL GALLERY
If you did not purchase the Digital Gallery upgrade, all displays will be off for the duration of your event.
If you purchased the Digital Gallery upgrade, you will get access to the 6 displays in the main gallery (G1) and the 4 displays in the secondary gallery (G2). You are required to provide all media to be displayed no later than 5 calendar days prior to your event. We highly recommend that you use Dropbox, Google Drive, or Google Photos to provide your content to us. Please provide us with a direct download link to your content via email or via our contact form. Do Not attach gallery content directly in email, as it will degrade the quality. You must indicate which media is to be displayed on which display. Displays are referenced 1-6 (G1) and 1-4 (G2), from left to right, respectively. The galleries are pre-loaded prior to the start of your rental period and are set to loop whatever content is initially loaded for the duration of your event. They cannot be changed after the start of your rental period.
If you are not sure how best to display your content, just let us know and we will use our professional design judgement to ensure your gallery looks great.
The displays can accommodate both portrait (vertical) and landscape (horizontal) media, from individual pictures to slideshows and videos. There is no audio associated with the displays. To take full advantage of the real estate of the displays, the ideal resolution for all media should be in a 16:9 (horizontal) or 9:16 (vertical) ratio, at a resolution of 1920×1080 (1080×1920 vertical). G2 can accommodate 4k resolution up to 3840×2160. However, any media size and lower resolution can still be displayed. If you need help with your layout, feel free to reach out to us and we will be more than happy to assist you.
Touching the gallery displays is strictly prohibited.
Individual Display Options
For EACH individual display, you will need to provide content from one of the categories below…
- SINGLE IMAGE – A single image will be displayed for the duration of the rental period.
- SLIDESHOW – Multiple images will loop for the duration of the rental period.
- SINGLE VIDEO – A single video will be displayed (and looped) for the duration of the rental period.
